You could say that concrete manufacturing is in our wheelhouse. With over 20 years of experience, we’ve acquired the technical knowledge to manufacture a superior product. We’re particularly proud of having worked on major sites in Quebec, Ontario, and Labrador, including pouring concrete for hydropower plants and supplying the cement for mining sites.

OUR CONCRETE CAPABILITIES:

  • Cement manufacturing
  • Asphalt manufacturing
  • Asphalt paving
  • Ready-mix concrete
  • Mass concrete
  • High-performance concrete (HPC)
  • Shotcrete
  • Roller-compacted concrete (RCC)
  • Self-consolidating concrete (SCC)
  • Precooling mass concrete (ice)

Our equipment

We’re totally committed to delivering products that stand the test of time, with properties that meet the highest industry standards. We do that by using precision equipment, including:

2 LIEBHERR MOBILMIX 2.25 MOBILE MIXING PLANTS:

  • Theoretical discharge output in compacted mixed concrete [m³/h]: 100
  • Maximum aggregate storage capacity [m³]: 140
  • Maximum number of aggregate chambers: 4

1 MOBILE DRY BATCH PLANT:

  • Theoretical discharge output in compacted mixed concrete [m³/h]: 100
  • Maximum aggregate storage capacity [m³]: 140
  • Maximum number of aggregate chambers: 4

Our mobile concrete plants are comparable to stationary plants and can be erected quickly on site. All it takes to move them is a few transport units. The plants are containerized and erected on a steel chassis that acts as a foundation. They’re then connected to ice-making plants and water cooling systems to cool the mass concrete mixes generally used to build hydropower plants.

What we do more

Civil works

Our team has considerable experience and a proven ability to deliver on a wide range of civil engineering projects, including hydropower plants, roads and municipal works, industrial and mining sites, earthworks, crushing, drilling and blasting.

Warehousing, logistics and transshipping

Our facilities are strategically located in the heart of Bécancour’s integrated industrial and port park, SPIPB. In addition to civil engineering, the Bécancour division specializes in bulk material storage, handling, bagging, and transport.
